This Years "Mama" Ski Gear.....

Essential "mama" ski gear.
With the ski season ahead of us I've been preparing. Here are a few of of the mix and match options I have so far. We spend so much time on snow it's hard to not have several options. Plus there is always last years gear to add to the mix!

I have a bit of an obsession with hats. It could be worse.......at least it's not an obsession with jewelry! I count my husband lucky! Hehe!

The Volcom Logic Pant. It's my lighter weight option. Just a shell, super comfy and I love the color.

LOVE Skea.
If you're in need of some awesome ski gear, check out Skea. Diane the owner is absolutely lovely, it's a local Vail, CO company, it's warm, it's functional, it looks fabulous....need I go on!  :)  I gave Stella my last years Skea that she was trying to steal all last season, needless to say she's a happy camper!

Yup, another hat! Maybe one day I'll do just a hat blog. Literally there are too many to post...

I've been a bit in love with the color 'mustard yellow' this season. I found these pants on DogFunk.com. The Bonfire Heavenly Solid Pant, super thick and warm.

Another Skea

Mama POC

More mama POC

Troy bought me this Helly Hansen coat last year. It's the perfect get to and from the ski area / apre ski, super warm long coat. It's a must when you spend as much time outside standing around as I do!
Can you tell I'm excited for ski season?!?! Ha!

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
Sending out Love and Gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!

on fire tonight.....

Sending out life force, strength and love! Sometimes we all need a little boost!  Love and Gratitude!
