expanding...

Learning, expanding, growing, and studying.  I've taken on a few new projects and I'm trying to learn as much as possible about them and it's been refreshing to dive into the unknown. In part, my husband inspires me, he's always soaking in all the information he can about anything and everything. With so much information available at our fingertips, there is no excuse not to. The other part is, I want to be a better example for Stella. We are always pushing her to learn, read and grow, but we (I) need to lead more by example.  Firing on all cylinders....  :) Love and Gratitude!

learning....

I've been doing quite a bit of reading on organic growing. I'm starting a small garden this years and hoping to one day have a garden like my mom and dad have (it's pretty amazing).  From growing our own veggies to buying our own organically raised cow....one step at a time!   The start of the lettuce. My tomato's. "The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease," ~Thomas Edison.  Thomas had it right...... One day I hope to go FULL organic, we're getting closer and closer and making better choices for our bodies every day.  Love and Gratitude!!

sunday, SuNdAy, SUNDAY....

Yesterday we had a pretty GREAT family day! I was excited to spend some quality time with two of my favorite humans, and what better way to spend time with the ones I love,  then with a full day of shooting and hiking ending with a great sushi dinner!   A target on a tree and clay pigeons all over the woods......awesome target practice with my favorite gun!  Nothing like a little friendly competition! He won!   LOVE this man!  Stella cranking out a few rounds with her gun!    Nope, not happy at all! Ha!  ;)   The ol' handy PBR can! Stella LOVES shooting those up!   My favorite humans!  A pano shot of the Ten Mile Range! How blessed are we to live in a place like this!!   Our playground for the day! Top of Tiger Run Rd.  Lil' Annie Oakley! Ha!  Stella searching an old mine for some quartz. This girl loves pretty rocks!  ...
