4 th of July weekend we climbed James Peak, outside of Winter Park. We didn't make it to the top due to some nasty weather that moved in over the peak which is a bummer because we where only about 200 vertical feet from the top. Regardless we had a great hike and got to take in some A M A Z I N G views from (almost) the top! Winter Park Ski Resort in the background . I stopped and took pictures of all the amazing mountain flowers. That might be another blog post in-of-it-self! Mountain flowers.... mm mmmm ! These pictures don't do the place justice.
