Organic Cow...Mooooo

It's once again that time, time ...to buy another cow. Yup I said it....buy a cow. My parents along with their good friends are buying an " organically raised" cow and having a butcher, butcher it up into all sorts of yummy cut. It is some of the best meat around with NO additives, growth hormones or any of that other junk they feed the cows to make them grow faster to produce more meat that they put on store shelves. We are also lucky enough to have an organic farmer down the road from us that sells certified organic milk in the glass jars instead of plastic. woo- hooo GOOD STUFF

Cleaning Up The Yard....A Work In Progress!

With the weather being what it's been for the past few weeks, I've decided to take full advantage of it. I've started rearranging, cleaning, re-building, and organizing the rock yard. The rock yard is a dusty, dirty place but the rock is bright and colorful and I'm working on adding some "flair"! :) Flowers don't grow around here and I wanted something that would last all year around, solution... plastic flowers. I know what your thinking and I was thinking the same thing but that's about the only option around here. So, Stella and I this weekend went to Hobby Lobby and this is what we came up with. OK so I know they are not fresh flowers but at least it adds a little color! :) Wishing everyone a warm sunny day!
