halloweenie....

This yeah for Halloween we gathered Noel, her mama Holly, Stella, Troy and I and we hit the town. We went to two subdivisions with primo candy grabbing opportunities and everyone who's anyone in town was there too.  Needless to say the girl both walked away with a pillow case each of candy!   The weather couldn't have been more perfect and all the house were decked out with awesome Halloween decor. A zombie and ghost!   Yes, it's real. We stopped by a friends house and they had just gotten home from a hunting trip and of course they thought some fresh kill would scare a few people.  A redneck Halloween!   Stella the zombie!  Hope everyone had a safe, awesome, super fun, scary Halloween.  Love and Gratitude!

happy halloween...

A family that scares together, stay together! Ha!  A fun night planned in town tomorrow night with the girls doing some trick-or-treating.  Hope everyone has a fun, silly, crazy, scary night!  Love and Gratitude!

the show.....

This evening Stella had her first choir performance of the school year. It was awesome. Short and sweet. Usually these things go on for hours but each class (6th, 7th and 8th) only sang two songs and then they all sang one together. Stella's solo came right at the end with all the classes combined. It was beautiful and made me one proud mama!  Snap shot of the program.  Stella belting her solo!   A funny little pic of Stella and her BBF being a little bit dramatic with the snow flying for the first time this year. I asked them to be dramatic and dramatic they were. I love this picture and I love these girls!  Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.  Sending out lots of love and gratitude!

good life.....

Happy Wednesday.  Love and Gratitude!

*sigh*

Blessed! That's all!

let it go.....

Sometimes it's easier said then done......but here's to letting things go!  Moving on with an open heart and open mind!  Love and Gratitude!

hurry up....

Another gorgeous day in paradise but there is something missing......the white stuff. After running some errands in town and dropping Stella off to hang with her buddies and go long boarding, Troy, Gus and I went for a little hike up the mountain.   Such lack of snow.....boo!  Upper mountain looks a little better but still too thin.  We hiked up to TenMile Station and sat on the deck and soaked in some sunshine! Sunshine fuels my soul.  Gus had himself a pretty great time too!  I'm hoping by next week we'll have at least enough snow to cover these guys. Lucky, loved and very blessed.  Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.  So much love and gratitude.

only a few more days.....

Stella has the day off of school today so naturally it it is being spent outside running around town on her long board. We are counting our last few days without snow on the ground around here so she's making the most of it and getting the last few rides in. There is finally a little snow accumulating on the mountain but not in town yet.  This place rocks! Stella and Brigitte on Ski Hill Road.  The only time I got to get out of the office today is to drive these two silly girls to the top of the road so they could long board down into town. Lucky duckies. 65 degrees and beautiful.  Love this little one and this life we live!  Love and Gratitude!

inspiration....

Along with all the book keeping, managing, billing, shipping, purchasing, inventory and ordering I do, I  found time today to start working on a design for my first sweater for the 2013-14 collection. Exciting stuff!! It's always awesome when you have someone that's been in the business for as long as Walter has behind you, pushing, inspiring and teaching you (me). I feel very blessed. I'm always keeping an eye out for styles, colors and designs that I love. I've decided to go with a very organic color of alpaca (no dyes) and go a little old school in my design....will post pics and ideas soon!!!  After taking the last 4 days off I felt a little buried at work this morning with a stack piled high on my desk but one by one I made it through and had an super productive day. Wish ALL days went this way!  ;)  Among all the things I have to do tomorrow, along with some more designing I get to plan a super huge party for our 25th Anniversary of the company......lo...

the best three day date EVER.....

The last 4 days have been fantastic. A bit of a whirlwind but non-the-less....AWESOME. It started on Thursday night at the CU game with my parents, Stella, Troy, Trevor and a few friends. We lost terribly and we only stayed till about 1/2 time but it was super fun to be among friends and family watching some football.  The game was about even when we left at 1/2 time but somehow between leaving the game and getting home CU got rocked by ASU. We watched to remainder of the game at my parents house.  My mom always has the coolest CU stuff. This time she had CU mustaches for all the wear. It's hard to tell from the picture but there are buffaloes in the mustaches. Personally I think my stashes looks awesome and I rocked it for part of the game, the only problem was getting the silly thing off.....not water, not beer would get the thing to budge. After some MAJOR scratching and rubbing it finally came off! Whew.  Friday we dropped Stella of...

journey....

It seems as though the last few weeks have melted together. Moving through life one step at a time with a smile on.  As we prepare for the ski season we've been nesting quite a bit. This weekend I painted the bathroom, re-organized all my winter stuff along with the usual weekend cleaning, watched some football, went on a date with my husband, relaxed and enjoyed time with the people I love. That's what weekends are for right?!? I haven't been too motivated to blog and or even take pictures.... weird but I'm coming back around. So, here I am, happy, in love and this on journey, right where I should be!  Only a three day work week this week and then Ski Ball! Woot.  Sending out tons of LOVE and GRATITUDE!

be.....

As we pre-pare for the snow to start flying, there is excitement in the air. We are doing some "spring cleaning", re-arranging, purging, facelifting, and getting all our winter gear out and ready. Woo hoo. Ski season can't come quick enough. Can you feel it?!?! Wishing everyone a wonderful week. Love and Gratitude.
