the best three day date EVER.....

The last 4 days have been fantastic. A bit of a whirlwind but non-the-less....AWESOME. It started on Thursday night at the CU game with my parents, Stella, Troy, Trevor and a few friends. We lost terribly and we only stayed till about 1/2 time but it was super fun to be among friends and family watching some football.
The game was about even when we left at 1/2 time but somehow between leaving the game and getting home CU got rocked by ASU. We watched to remainder of the game at my parents house.

My mom always has the coolest CU stuff. This time she had CU mustaches for all the wear. It's hard to tell from the picture but there are buffaloes in the mustaches. Personally I think my stashes looks awesome and I rocked it for part of the game, the only problem was getting the silly thing off.....not water, not beer would get the thing to budge. After some MAJOR scratching and rubbing it finally came off! Whew.

Friday we dropped Stella off with her grandparents in Denver and Troy and I headed back to Boulder and checked into the St Julian (if you haven't been....check it out) we lounged and relaxed in style for a few hours and then got dressed and ready for Ski Ball. To say the least Ski Ball rocked this year. Lots of old faces and some new but always great to catch up with such great people. I didn't have my big camera, I didn't even have my small camera (big mistake) so all I had was my iPhone. We got some grainy pictures and this one was the best. **Note to self...always be camera ready**
Saturday (after sleeping in) we packed up from the St Julian and went to grab some breakfast to cure a little hang-over, we made the drive home up the mountain and into our first snow storm of the year. (WOO HOO) We picked up Gus from the doggie sitter and spent the day relaxing at home .....here we are Sunday morning getting ready to go pick Stella up in a few hours do our usual weekly grocery shop and get ready for the week to start once again. It's amazing what a long weekend will do to re-charge our batteries. Looking forward to diving in Monday morning and make things happen.
Thanks to my mom and dad for a great weekend, thanks to Stella for letting dad and I have a few days off, thanks to AnnaMaria and Les for having Stella, and mostly thanks to my AH-mazing husband for rockin this weekend with me!

Love and Gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

With A-Basin still open and lots of snow still left to ski on there is no better way to ring in summer vacation then a few weeks of The Watts Family Ski Camp!
