I pre-ordered this book on Tuesday and it is on it's already on it's way here!!! Woo hoo!  Being a long time follower of bike racing (thanks to my mom and dad) I am always fascinated by what pushes these guys. They are a rare breed. Tyler is a good friend of my parents so I'm super curious to see what he has to say. Whether you believe the whole doping thing or not I think it seems to have gotten a bit out of control. In my humble opinion I think they are ALL doing it but ......what do I know!  ;)  Update to follow once I get this puppy in my hands!  Happy Thursday!  Love and Gratitude! 

Friday we embarked on a little trip to Moab. Only 4 hours from Breck but a totally different world. Upper 90's, warm rivers, camping, games, family time, lots of sunshine and some of my favorite people.....does it get much better?!? Camp de Watts! We had the best campsite out there and right on the river!!!  Two of my favorite girls eating the best smores ever!!!  Day two we hiked up to Delicate Arch! Seemed like a long hike considering we rode the day before and my legs seemed a bit jello-y but it was definitely worth the effort.  Stella and Noelle in the arch! These girls are some tough cookies, it was hot and long but they made it!   It's been about 18 years since I've ridden Slickrock, I remember it being a little easier back then but it felt great being back in the saddle, muscle memory is awesome! Stella and Noelle!   Stella rocking it!!! Our fearless leader riding even the hardest of hills.....HOT! ;) ...

One of my favorite human beings came for a visit these past few days. Mollie and I go back some 17years and no matter the time and space that has been put before us, our friendship has never changed.   Love this girl!  And, now I love this guy! Barry! A great new addition to our family (good work Mollie)!! I have a feeling we'll be spending TONS more time together (especially this winter)   ;) Oh Gus! He came on our little adventure too!  We got a little wet along the way but that didn't stop us none!   The crew, new and old!  Wishing Mollie and Barry safe travels home. Thanks for the visit and here's to many more adventures!  Love and Gratitude!

We all have a way of looking at things. You can either choose to be happy or you can choose to be unhappy and two people can look at the same situation and have VERY different outcomes. Sure things aren't always easy and life has its bumps in the road and we all have our down days, but even in those circumstances it's possible to have a positive outlook. Count your blessings and have gratitude and that will almost alway put a smile on your face. It's not about what we don't have but what we do have, like our relationships with family and friends, health and happy kids. Evenings are getting cooler, there are occasional flurries at about 12,000 feet and I'm praying for snow. Ok, you may think it's a bit premature but I'm ready for it! We've got the ski area less then 1/2 a mile from the house, we're slowly looking for the perfect pair of fatties for the season.....can you feel it?!? Snow is coming!! Woo hoo!  YES!!!
