desert...

Friday we embarked on a little trip to Moab. Only 4 hours from Breck but a totally different world. Upper 90's, warm rivers, camping, games, family time, lots of sunshine and some of my favorite people.....does it get much better?!?

Camp de Watts! We had the best campsite out there and right on the river!!!

Two of my favorite girls eating the best smores ever!!!

Day two we hiked up to Delicate Arch! Seemed like a long hike considering we rode the day before and my legs seemed a bit jello-y but it was definitely worth the effort.

Stella and Noelle in the arch! These girls are some tough cookies, it was hot and long but they made it!

It's been about 18 years since I've ridden Slickrock, I remember it being a little easier back then but it felt great being back in the saddle, muscle memory is awesome!

Stella and Noelle!

Stella rocking it!!!

Our fearless leader riding even the hardest of hills.....HOT! ;)

The sunsets where incredible....the picture doesn't do it justice, guess you had to be there! :)

Pure relaxation. A dip in the Colorado River, some tanning, and then a beer, a book and some shade! Bliss!

Even Gus got into the camping spirit!

 *LOVE*

The drive on the way home. I think the girls were ready for a shower and a soft bed! :)

Sooooooo many pictures to post and stories to tell but, all in due time.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend and did exactly what you wanted to be doing! I know we did!

Love and Gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!

on fire tonight.....

Sending out life force, strength and love! Sometimes we all need a little boost!  Love and Gratitude!
