new toys.....

My darling husband bought this sweet sewing machine for me about a month ago. I know 'nothing' about sewing machines but being the amateur that I am....this thing ROCKS! It's kinda dummy proof, in other words, super easy to use.....just what I need. Over the last month I've become immersed in all that is sewing, from fabrics to patters to threads.....OH MY! I've already bought the fabric for some new curtains, pillow covers and neckies!

 The Singer Heritage 8768......kinda obsessed!

I could also spend hours finding fabrics online. Here's just a few that came in this week.

 Pillow covers.

I have a new problem.....HELP!   ;)

Next house.......this is what I want!

Troy's on the mend and doing far better then I could have imagined a guy with a broken pelvis could do 10 days out of surgery. That's to say.....baby step everyday are awesome.

Hope y'all have a fantastic week.

So much love and gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!

on fire tonight.....

Sending out life force, strength and love! Sometimes we all need a little boost!  Love and Gratitude!
