been a while.....

Sooooooo it's been about to 2 months since the last time I checked in. Life's been one windy road these last two months with some major incidents, minor incident and EVERYTHING in-between. This is what it's all about......the good, the bad, the amazing, the fantastic and the scary all rolled into one. I think I've stayed away from blogging because frankly it's been a little hard to keep up between all the races and training that Stella and I have been to, and to all the traveling that Troy had been doing. But as some of you may know life slowed down drastically 10 days ago in the Watts house, I'll get to that in a minute but here is all the in-between.....
Late January....both of us not smiling much,  but can you tell which one has a broken rib and which has a majorly bruised ego and bruised coccyx from the first run of the day?

February....major highlight, Jordan came for a 13 day visit. Lots of training some racing and all sorts of awesomeness to have her around.

January and February seemed like the never ending wrist break. At least we could wash that nasty, stinky thing!!! Round two of the cast brought us from hot pink to camo., it was a pretty cool cast but.....so glad that's done!

Prater Cup came and went with it's own trials and tribulations and although we didn't qualify for JO's we put some amazing turns together.....just not enough of them! ;) Onwards and upwards!!

On to 10 day ago. This is the result of Troy's broken pelvis.
Fortunately when things like this happen I don't freak out I just go into logistics mode. With the help of some very kind and awesome friends I got everything handled from Stella, to the dog, to Troy's car being driven from Beaver Creek to the driveway and all the other little things in-between. After spending a few days in Denver we finally got Troy home with his new hardware. All plated and pinned back together. It's amazing what the human body can endure and how quickly it can heal.
I can't express how grateful we are for the great friends that stepped in at a seconds notice.
THANK YOU!!!!

It's times like these we count our blessings! Now who's ready for a vacation.......this girl!!!!   ;)

Love and Gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Watts Family Spring Ski Camp!!

With A-Basin still open and lots of snow still left to ski on there is no better way to ring in summer vacation then a few weeks of The Watts Family Ski Camp! Private two on one athlete to coach ratio, empty semi-private mountain, morning sessions on snow, afternoon dryland, private full time chef / cleaning lady, luxury accommodations......first class all the way! HA!!!  Troy, Jordan, Stella and I are making it a family affair and having a hoot!  Our two star athletes!!!  Seriously sick pic!!!  A morning on all mountain skis, some bumps, some soft snow and lots of fun!  Beautiful blue skies and some perfect warm spring weather! An afternoon dryland session on the frisbee golf course.  Super-stars!!!  We're all pretty stoked on this little adventure. The next couple days hold some more skiing, a few days' excursion to Moab and some more skiing! Woot!!! Love and Gratitude!
