a good day.....

Days like to today make me really appreciate the life we lead. A beautiful sunny day, great training, focus, hard work, and smiles.
I was hiking in between Stella training on one run and Troy watching his FIS kids race on the run next to it. Of course I had my camera in hand and couldn't seem to stop snapping.

I looked at Stella today and it scared me at how grown up she looked then she started giggling with her friends and all was right in the world again......in the blink of an eye she grew up! Eeekkkk!

Troy (two weeks after having his pelvis plated together) was back on the hill. These last few days he's been sliding around watching his FIS kids race. He amazes me daily and today I truly got to see that he is WAY more comfortable sliding around on skis then walking in the parking lot. The human mind and body is an amazing thing and my husband is a rock star!

Tomorrow Mollie and Barry tie the knot at the top of Vail Mountain. So excited to be part of this awesome event. Lots of pictures to come.....

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!

on fire tonight.....
