treeeeeee.........

Every year over the Thanksgiving Break I alway try and get the tree up and decorated. This year was no different except for one or two minor hiccups. I had to wrangle the 8 1/2 foot tree into place and in doing so broke the stand which ended up being a really great thing. I stopped at Walmart and didn't have any luck finding what I wanted, I drove another 10 miles down the road to Lowe's and found this gem below. A rotating tree stand. Best invention EVER. It made stringing light so easy.
Love this thing......I bit pricy (for a tree stand) but soooooooo worth it.

I kept it simple this year.

Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving week. We spent our last day of break today in Beaver Creek watching the women's World Cup GS. It was amazing and Mikaela Shiffrin came in second. Lots of pictures to post from that but I'll save that for another day.

Sending out lots of love and gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)
