last week and season wrap up.....

This last week is a bit of a blur, (a happy blur) but a blur non-the-less. Jordan came out for a visit and she and Troy got to spend two spectacular days cruisin around Vail!  The rest of the week was spent training and enjoying each others company and to top off her visit she and Stella raced the Loveland Derby. I think they have been running this race for 52 years and my mom has been to 22 of those. Between me, my brother, my dad and Stella my mom has been on the sidelines cheering all of us on. Looking ahead and forward to getting to see Jordan in a few weeks when she comes back out with Burke for a few post season camps. Woot!

Jordan!

Stella spending a day training with Troy at Loveland before the last race of the season.

The day of the Derby..... this poor kid got off to a bad start. Troy was there to capture it and there were about 20 coaches under him to capture him. Happy to report no injuries just some great pictures!

In true derby fashion, Stella wore a costume, in this case my mom got her a tutu! She had her best race of the season. Hopefully she can carry this end of the season momentum into next season after a nice long summer break!

Troy and Jordan watching the action!

Happy girl, happy heart!

We are spending the next week recharging our batteries at the Jolly Ranch and taking a break from the snow.

Wishing everyone a happy week.
Love and Gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!

Muddy...

It's coming along..... We had a rainy, wet Saturday but we got a few more rocks added to the wall. Mom and Dad got tons done over the last few days! After this pic was taken it got WAY muddier, that's when we really started digging in the dirt! Wishing everyone a lovely weekend. Much Love!
