two really great days.....

We just finished the first weekend of may great weekends to come. Stella had her first age-class race. We had some highs and some lows, a few tears but mostly major smiles. Stella raced on a hill that Troy and I both know well from our racing days and it brought back some great memories but more importantly this weekend made some new ones.

The weather couldn't of been more perfect!

Stella ready to roll. First run didn't bode too well for Stella. She ate it pretty hard and took out a panel. We had a few tears after the first run but second run she pulled it together for a great run. Love this little one, she rocks!

Luckily Troy-boy was only on duty for 1/2 the day so we got to take a few runs and watch Stella's second run together! Love this guy!

One more picture from yesterday from when my mama was here to watch Stella.  Love my mama! Yay!

Back to reality this week. Stella starts school again tomorrow and I've got a big week in the office getting ready for a show we have coming up next week but on the up side we get to be in Steamboat next weekend for Stella's first SG race! Eeeek! Also, I want to wish the Buffs luck for the next few days, tomorrow is the first day of their invitational at Eldora! F**k em' up, f**k em' up GO CU!

Hope everyone has a fantastic week!
Love and Gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!
