sunday, SuNdAy, SUNDAY....

Yesterday we had a pretty GREAT family day! I was excited to spend some quality time with two of my favorite humans, and what better way to spend time with the ones I love,  then with a full day of shooting and hiking ending with a great sushi dinner!

A target on a tree and clay pigeons all over the woods......awesome target practice with my favorite gun!

Nothing like a little friendly competition! He won!

 LOVE this man!

Stella cranking out a few rounds with her gun!

Nope, not happy at all! Ha!  ;)

The ol' handy PBR can! Stella LOVES shooting those up!

 My favorite humans!

A pano shot of the Ten Mile Range! How blessed are we to live in a place like this!!

Our playground for the day! Top of Tiger Run Rd.

Lil' Annie Oakley! Ha!
Stella searching an old mine for some quartz. This girl loves pretty rocks!
We ended up taking Stella and her buddy to see The Hunger Games in Dillon and Troy and I snuck off for a little dinner date while we waited for the girls. 1/2 off sushi at the best sushi spot in Summit County! Can't beat that. Love 'mud season', town is quite, restaurants aren't packed and there is a mellow vibe in the valley! Back at work today while Troy and Stella play in the sunshine. Hoping to sneak out of here a little early to get some deck time in our backyard with them.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!
Much love and gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...
