not your typical amusement park...

Another wonderful family Sunday-Fun-Day! It started out with a fun little breakfast in town reconnecting with old friends and went straight into, what's becoming one of my favorite spots in Breckenridge, Crystal Lake. Sunshine, Stella, Gus, my Troy-boy, and some hiking. We are so blessed to be in such a kick-ass, beautiful place.
Someone has turned this old mine pulley-house into an actual house. It looked like it was about to fall over but it was so cool!

Gus and I at the top of our hike, all smiles. It's true, the best things in life ARE free!

Stella and Gus running back down the trail.

Nothing like cold mountain water for a little fun!

No people, no noise, no cell phones, no money, just some cool mountain air!

Gus contemplating a swim!

Post-swim run down. He's still not sure what to think of the water, it takes quite a bit of coaxing to get him in.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful, relaxing weekend! Last night we felt like celebrating just because so we popped a bottle of bubbly and toasted this wonderful life!
Love and Gratitude!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...

Hey there holy roller.....
