wiiiiiinnnnndddddddyyyyyyy.......

As expected we arrived at Eldora this morning to help out with another FIS race and guess, what?!?! IT WAS WINDY AND COLD!!!! Duh (hehe)!!! Eldora wouldn't be Eldora without the wind and cold so we come prepared. We stood at the start till about 11am till the race was finally called. So instead of saying "racer ready go" 400 times today I get to say it 800 times tomorrow!! Yup that's right, we are going to try at get off two races tomorrow for men and women...this should be fun! :)

You can't really tell from this picture but we had 90mph gusts where we were standing! Luckily we could huddle in the start house (fondly named Casa de Rokos) till it was time to pack it up and head down the hill.

We headed straight up to the little bar for some food, beers and bloody's with great friends! Woo hoo!

Right as Troy was about to shoot off a picture we got a call from Jordan!! Woot! She raced today at Burke and ended up 6th!! Woooo WAY TO GO JORDAN!!! Missing both Taylor and Jordan and sending so much love their way!

Some of our FAVORITE peeps. Nate and Elizabeth, a big part of the Eldora family!

As always, Stella was having a miserable time! Ha! Loving this little one.....she braved the cold and wind all afternoon to train with her team, smiles and all!

Ready to do it all again tomorrow!

So much love and gratitude.....

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...
