sunshine fuels my soul....

OMG! What a weekend! We just got home about two hours ago from one big'ol whirlwind. We got up early Saturday morning and head up to Eldo (as usual) so Stella could train and Troy and I could cruise the mountain! It was amazing, the weather was top notch, the snow was incredible and the company was the best! We spent the better part of the afternoon on the bar deck with my mama soaking in all the sunshine we could get (and boy, did we get some)!

Nope, not happy at all!  ;)

Stella, her coach Montana and all her team mates!

My husband RIPS!!! Wooooo!

My laptop took a nose dive a few weeks ago (it SUCKED) so guess what this lucky girl got this weekend! Yup, a new 13inch MacBook Pro. It is of course for work but this girl is having a little fun on it too! We've finally turned into an all Mac family. iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks for all! Woot!

Meet Sir Ota our new fishy! Ota is a Czech word for prosperity.
Stella's been asking for a fish since we got back to Colorado (as well as a doggie) and a few weeks ago she saw that her little brother got a fishy too, so this weekend Stella got her fishy! We had to wait till we were down in Denver because there is no place in Summit County to get a fish, trust me Stella researched and researched on Google for hours! :)
Saturday after skiing we headed into Highlands Ranch to hang out with the rest of the Watts clan. Today was about 60 degrees in Denver so the Watts boys got a golf game in while Stella and I got all the shopping we could handle in trying to take care of all the things we can't take care of up in Summit County. By 4pm we were beat and ready to get out of town and head back up the hill to Breck. Whew!
One last note and in case you missed it, the Buffs ended a great season in 3rd at the NCAA Champs this weekend. UVM won this year (congrats to them) but cheaters never win and hopefully it all comes back around. Utah was in a respectable 2nd, a well deserved finish after having a stellar year so far.
WAY TO GO BUFFS, way to hang in there and get some KICK-ASS individual results!

Sending out LOVE and Gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!

on fire tonight.....

Sending out life force, strength and love! Sometimes we all need a little boost!  Love and Gratitude!
