BOOM...

Troy-boy and I took the opportunity today to hit the hill and have a little date-day! We were predicted to get over a foot of snow last night but this morning we woke up to only a few inches of fluff. That didn't stop us from pulling out the fatty skis and cruisin the mountain all day. We dropped off Stella at school and scooted over Swan Mountain to Keystone.
My Rossi Fatties! Love them!

We only brought along our little pocket camera but Troy still managed to make me look good!    :)

I hate fuzzy pictures but I love this one. We look miserable right?!? He he,...like kids in a candy shop!

Mid day we took a walk over the bridge into Keystone Village to grab a quick snack and check out duckies we ran into. For as much time that I've spent at ski areas I can honestly say I've never ran  into ducks at the base of the mountain. They were pretty happy getting some granola from Troy!

Lunch of champions and then a few more runs! At about 3 we scooted back over to Breck just in time to pick up Stella from school and get her over to volleyball practice. Picked up some Chinese food on the way home and it's safe to say I am one spent girl!
Tomorrow I start a new job! Woo hoo! Excited to get working again but what a great way to spend the day with my husband! Woot!

So much love and gratitude!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...
