f**k em' up, f**k em' up, GO CU

What a weekend. Thursday night Troy and I headed to Boulder to my parents place for 3 nights so Friday morning we could load the lift at 7am at Eldora for the Spencer Nelson Memorial CU Invitational. My mama hung out with Stella Thursdays night at our new home in Breck so Stella could go to school on Friday and then come and meet us in Boulder for a weekend of skiing with her old teammates at Eldora. As always I filled the roll of starter for the three days of racing. Luckily this year I kept my voice the entire time (woo-hoo). There was a lot of great racing to watch, the weather was beautiful, Stella was having a blast with her old team training, all my family and some old friends were around, and my hubby got to be out on the race hill. I call that a GREAT weekend!

Racer in the gate, 10 seconds.....5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO

The new start house at the top of the GS, fondly called Casa de Rokos by the team.

Gratitude!

The Buffs took the lead after the first day of GS and unfortunately the SL was postponed due to poor hill conditions due to the snow fall the night before.

Sending out Love, Gratitude and hopes for a kick-ass season for the Buffs.

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...
