zip lining.....

Today Stella and I did some more exploring of New England. About 35 minutes down the valley from us we found Alpine Adventures! We had such a hoot! We did 6 really long zip lines in the canopy of really tall trees right outside Lincoln. Stella's done some zip lining before (in Europe and her tree house in Colorado) but never anything this high and this fast! She was giggling all the way!

Unfortunately it was hard to take pictures because we were moving pretty fast through the course and we sort of needed both hands on the rigs. One up above on the carabiener and one on the line. But the last line we did, we had a bit of a free fall out of the tree so they had us harnessed in a little different so I had a chance to pull out the camera and get some pics!
Two thumbs up!!

Happy Girl!

So much fun, and the staff ROCKED.

If you're in the area, Stella and I both HIGHLY recommend taking the tree hours to do this tour.

Sending out much Sunday LOVE!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...
