Texas, you do me right....

Arrived home from Texas last night and as great as it is to be back home, there is a little piece of me that stayed in Texas. The dock at Palacous. What an incredible place. Time and space seem to stop here.
Picture of a picture from the ranch.
What else do you do in Texas?

Made a little friend on the coast.

We found some pretty cool things along the miles of private beach we had all to ourselves.
After a week of traveling from Austin to the Ranch to the coast and then onto Houston and as incredible as all those places where, Palacous and the coast was by far my favorite spot. This was our house with miles and miles of no one around. Private beaches, lots of sunshine, reading, relaxing, and taking it all in.....BLISS!!!
Love!
Now, home for a few days and off to Hood on Sunday for 10 days of skiing. Stella and mom are having an incredible time in Euroland and I can't tell you how much I'm missing the bugger.
Slowly prepping the house to turn into a rental at the end of August and then its off to the eastcoast for a great adventure. Amazing how things fall into place. Blessed!

Sending out much love!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!
