Mostly complete. Stella's bathroom is finally done. There are still a few minor touch ups but for the most part, complete! It's not the bathroom that I had envisioned and had Stella and I planned to stay at the house and not move I would have done it a little differently BUT considering we only dropped a few bills on it, I think it looks KICK-ASS compared to what it was. Hopefully Stella likes it when she gets home from Euroland .... Before: and, AFTER! Recycled cabinets that i still may strip and re-stain once I get home from Hood but all in all it looks awesome! And.....we're off (again)! Heading to Hood tomorrow! Bags are packed and amazingly I got them both at 49lbs, hopefully my scale is right. I hate shifting thing from bag to bag at the airport (pet-peeve)and I've had to do it more then I'd like to admit , I always seem to be just a little over.... grrrrr ! Had a nice long Skype date with mom and Stella yesterday and they are having an amazi...

Arrived home from Texas last night and as great as it is to be back home, there is a little piece of me that stayed in Texas. The dock at Palacous. What an incredible place. Time and space seem to stop here. Picture of a picture from the ranch. What else do you do in Texas? Made a little friend on the coast. We found some pretty cool things along the miles of private beach we had all to ourselves. After a week of traveling from Austin to the Ranch to the coast and then onto Houston and as incredible as all those places where, Palacous and the coast was by far my favorite spot. This was our house with miles and miles of no one around. Private beaches, lots of sunshine, reading, relaxing, and taking it all in.....BLISS!!! Love! Now, home for a few days and off to Hood on Sunday for 10 days of skiing. Stella and mom are having an incredible time in Euroland and I can't tell you how much I'm missing the bugger. Slowly prepping the house to turn into a renta...

We arrived in Texas two days ago and I still haven't gotten use to the heat...don't think I ever will but besides the heat it's been a kick ass trip so far. We're currently sitting in a little coffee shop in a little town called La Grange (where the ranch is), The ranch is about an hour outside of Austin, and sits on 2800 acres, it's huge to say the least and it has the coolest cows. You can walk right up to them and I swear these things will look at you and just keep on chewing their hay. We made a little discovery yesterday about 1 mile from the ranch on the road into town. A Czech culture center!!! We stopped in this morning and it wasn't open till 10am so we'll check it out on the way back into the ranch. Apparently Texas has a few HUGE Czech communities, Who knew?!?! Anyways, I'm off to explore more of Texas, Huston tomorrow to visit Troy's grandmother and then on to the coast to Palacios . Pictures to come. Sending out much Love!!! p.s. An upd...

Finished laying the tiles yesterday and tomorrow after we all leave dad will finish the grouting and then it's allllll done! Woot ! Lots of packing going on today! Stella's leaving for Europe with my mom for 3 1/2 weeks (lucky ducky) and I'm off to Texas and Oregon with my love, tomorrow. Then we all meet back here in Colorado at the begining of July for a fun filled summer of playing and packing up the house. Whew! Hope everyone is getting lots of sunshine lovin ! Icky, old bathroom! This past Tuesday we (mom, dad and I) decided to dive into giving Stella's bathroom a (much needed)MAJOR overhaul. We had planned on getting this bathroom and my bathroom done by the end of this summer but since this house is turning into a rental property September 1st we decided to get it done as soon as possible. We're about 1/2 way there and should be done by this weekend before we all leave till the beginning of July! Will post a pic in the next day or two with hopefully a finished, new, awesome bathroom!
