Stepping It Up!



Starting today Stella got bumped into an older group of swimmers. My lil one kicks ass in the pool! Along with that we're swimming an extra night during the week and practice in an extra 1/2 hour longer then she's use to. It was her decision to do this and I'm going to make sure she doesn't over due it. More importantly she HAS to keep up with her school work in order to keep swimming. I think it will be a really good thing for her and she's really excited about the thought of competing. She is a GREAT little swimmer. Can't wait to see where she takes this. Even if this doesn't work out I'm glad she's made the decision and committed to giving this a try. My lil girl is growing up! :)

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Change.....

It's time for a change.  I've been wanting to switch blog platforms for quite sometime and just wasn't finding the right one but thanks to a dear friend of mine I was turned onto squarespace. It's taken a minute or two to figure out this new platform but I'm loving it. I've imported all the old content from this blog and am ready to roll. In short, I've moved to a new neighborhood!!! Woot!  I'm humbled that even one person reads my ramblings but when my numbers started hitting the 1000's on a monthly basis I was blown away. Just say no to mud season.....

It just won't stop!!  We were kinda hoping it would just long enough for Troy to get out of Summit County and on the west side of GlenWood Springs before another big storm came in.  Nope. Didn't happen. It's mud season and nothing unusually or unexpected and I'm sure we will get one or two more storms but.....BOOOOOO!!! Our backyard is pretty beautiful right now!  Bike all packed and ready to go!  We had a few great dinner parties this weekend and I can't say that I'm too bummed Troy isn't on the road. Sunday's snuggled up together watching movies while it dumps outside isn't so awful! Hope you'll are having a fabulous weekend!  Love and Gratitude!
