Hot Water...

Whew! We dodged an expensive bullet today. The house has two 40 gallon hot water heaters and up until today we thought both of them were going to have to be replaced. A $1000 for two new ones, BUT, thanks to Mr. Handyman (my dad :)) and with a little help from our friends the two hot water heaters are like new and there is more hot water then we know what to do with. WOO-HOO!!!
Stella and I primed her room tonight. The electric purple and neon green are almost all gone. She got home from school and helped me for and hour and then went up to the house with my mom to have dinner and do homework while I got another coat on the wall. There is still some color showing but I think with one more coat tomorrow we should be all covered, and then the real fun begins. Stella is so excited to start putting the color she picked out on the wall, it makes me excited to start painting it for her, ever though I've been painting for 3 days straight, she keeps me going.

The bugger and I. Check out the awesome colors behind us! All gone now!! :)

Concentration!! :)

I finished tonight at about 9:30. I'm a tired girl and there is still TONS more to do, but I love this kind of work. Instant results for putting in the time and effort. So excited to see this house coming together.
Off to bed.....MUCH Love!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

vegas....

This week has been INSANE! We are in the process of getting ready for one of our largest shows in Vegas that the boys leave for on Saturday. It's one of two shows that we do where we get to put our best foot forward and amaze all the buyers for all the boutiques that we sell to. So we have to get it right. With all the new samples that we have been getting from Peru, having to choose a new line has been tough, too many amazing choices to choose from!  Scary, but this is an alpaca sweater that we produced in the 80's and I just happend upon it while digging around in the warehouse the other day. Trust me we've had a HUGE evolution in our sweaters since then! Still fun to see!  Our new line of cottons. We've got two racks that we are sifting through to find the top 30!  On another note, check out Stella and my dad at the top of Hood with some of the CU kids. She sounds like she's having a blast! Missing her a bunch but we get to see her on Saturday. ...
