Pictures....

I'm at home today with a sick little girl! :( Poor thing has got a massive cold and cough. I called her school this morning and they told me that about 1/2 the population of the school is out today due to being sick. Not good! But, hopefully with lots of TLC, tea, and rest she'll be back up and running soon. We've been doing tons of reading and playing board games, trying to stay away from the TV and being at home during the day has given me some time to catch up on a few things I've been meaning to do for a long time. Amongst all the laundry and cleaning the house I've been scanning old picture. From my grandparents wedding pictures to my high school years. Stella and I are having a blast going through all the old pictures. It's been fun telling Stella stories of my childhood and family adventures.

Like I said, pictures of my grandparent to me in high school

This is me in 1994 in Moab, UT. On a school trip, sitting on top of the van while rolling down the road.
So many great pictures to share and all these pictures give me blog content for the next 3 years! :) I'll post more soon. In the meantime, wishing everyone a healthy and happy Wednesday!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Ski Team!

A few weeks ago Stella started training with the Eldora Ski Team every Saturday. Now Saturday's can't come soon enough. I get up at 6 and get Stella up at 6:30 and we are out the door by 7. Usually we get up to Eldora around 8:30 after making a stop to get mama coffee and Stella and donut or two! :) By 9am Stella is ripping up the slopes with her coach (Dave) and 5 other little girls her age. She is having such a blast it's hard to believe we didn't do this sooner. I never noticed these signs before and thought it was pretty cool the ski area was showing some love to the local ski programs. Stella proceed to then inform me that they've been there for quite some time. Oops! :) Stella and two of her little ski buddies! Stella ripping up the GS course! At the end of the day which is usually at 3 all the kids have to help tear down the course. Stella is doing such an awesome job that it makes me one proud mama. Much Love!!!

on fire tonight.....

Sending out life force, strength and love! Sometimes we all need a little boost!  Love and Gratitude!
