Fresh...

On Saturday Stella, Dreya and I went to one of my favorite spots growing up as a kid. Eldorado Springs Pool. It's located at the end of Eldorado Canyon right outside of Boulder. As a kid we use to go there quite often. I haven't been there in years but the one thing that I had remembered about the pool was that it was freezing and sure enough...nothing has changed. Its also got this rickety, sketchy, steep, fast, metal, old school slide. The place hasn't changed a bit. It was so refreshing to swim in a fresh water swimming pool. No chlorine just fresh spring water circulating. Definitely planning on many more trip there this summer.

Brave lil Stella making her way up the slide. We all made the plunge down the slide but Stella couldn't stop, she slid her butt off all afternoon.

Pictures don't do this slide justice.

There's no ledge at the top, you just kinda have to carefully make your way from step to slide. Also check out the canyon wall behind Stella. The pool is surrounded. Its absolutely beautiful!

Stella making the drop into the pool!

Dreya, Stella and I had a great girls day out, the pool, pedicures and lunch!
Unfortunately this day was marked with Rudi's passing so that put a HUGE sad mark on the day but there will be many more days spent in this beautiful spot.

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

vegas....

This week has been INSANE! We are in the process of getting ready for one of our largest shows in Vegas that the boys leave for on Saturday. It's one of two shows that we do where we get to put our best foot forward and amaze all the buyers for all the boutiques that we sell to. So we have to get it right. With all the new samples that we have been getting from Peru, having to choose a new line has been tough, too many amazing choices to choose from!  Scary, but this is an alpaca sweater that we produced in the 80's and I just happend upon it while digging around in the warehouse the other day. Trust me we've had a HUGE evolution in our sweaters since then! Still fun to see!  Our new line of cottons. We've got two racks that we are sifting through to find the top 30!  On another note, check out Stella and my dad at the top of Hood with some of the CU kids. She sounds like she's having a blast! Missing her a bunch but we get to see her on Saturday. ...
