Date Night...

After work today the lil bugger and I headed to the gym for a little work out. We swam and then hit the hot tube. It felt great to get in the pool and swim some laps. After showering and gettin all beautified, Stella and I were off to dinner and a little shoppin . Just us girls. I've missed the bugger so much over the last week and 1/2 that she's been gone. We had a goofy silly night and I'm lucky that this little one is at my side! This picture was take about 10 seconds before the whole thing she's on swiveled and dropped her on the ground. We laughed our butts off! A little romantic dinner for two! Ha! Stella is gearing up for her annual trip with my parents to Aspen and Steamboat next week. Lucky lil bugger. Lots of biking, hiking and swimming with grandma and grandpa. Oh, to be a kid again and get to take vacations on a whim. We should all be so lucky! Hope everyone is having a fantastic summer, With Love.....Linda and Stella

Lucky Girl...

Soooooo much to write about. Stella came home today after being gone for a whole week. All is right and good in the world again. I missed the lil bugger more then you can imagine. My parents took a vacation this last week. They came home today with tons of great stories, got to see some great friends, happy and with a few goodies for Stella and I. Woot ! I took a trip this last weekend for my birthday (31...ahhhhh!...and loving it) to Minnesota to visit one of my nearest, dearest friends in the world and ended my trip by meeting a great friends family and getting to be part of a wedding party that kicked ass.......but that's a whole other story, one which I can't wait to write about. But for the moment back to my parents, they both work their butts for our little family and I'm very thankful and grateful for all they do for Stella and I. I'm a lucky girl! Mom and Dad on Cannon Beach, Oregon My mama! My dad up to no good! One of the best things they brought back for m...

Possibilities...

It's amazing the opportunities that arise if you're patient and give situations their due process. I have many new opportunities on my plate and if only one or two of them work out...life is good. Don't want to throw them out to the universe yet but I will when the time is right. I'm getting tons of stuff done while Stella is away this week but I miss her like CRAZY!!! I've talked to her a few times on the phone and it seems like she is having a blast. woo- hoo ! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Sending Love...

Fresh...

On Saturday Stella, Dreya and I went to one of my favorite spots growing up as a kid. Eldorado Springs Pool. It's located at the end of Eldorado Canyon right outside of Boulder. As a kid we use to go there quite often. I haven't been there in years but the one thing that I had remembered about the pool was that it was freezing and sure enough...nothing has changed. Its also got this rickety, sketchy, steep, fast, metal, old school slide. The place hasn't changed a bit. It was so refreshing to swim in a fresh water swimming pool. No chlorine just fresh spring water circulating. Definitely planning on many more trip there this summer. Brave lil Stella making her way up the slide. We all made the plunge down the slide but Stella couldn't stop, she slid her butt off all afternoon. Pictures don't do this slide justice . There's no ledge at the top, you just kinda have to carefully make your way from step to slide. Also check out the canyon wall behind Stella. ...

Sweet Solitude...

Yesterday Stella went to her dad's for a whole week. Tomorrow my parents leave on vacation for a week....what am I to do with myself? Here's the plan.... 1. Work out as much as possible...in the gym everyday and taking my time. 2. Read, read, read as much as I can. 3. Re-organize. -my closet -my filing cabinet -Stella's room -anything else I can think of that needs organizing (my life) :) 4. Take time to get together with friends that I haven't seen in awhile. 5. Reload my iPod with new music 6. Stay away from my laptop and TV as much as possible. 7. Do whatever I want, when I want..(oh, the possibilities!) 8. RELAX It's funny having this freedom with no attachments or schedules (besides work). There are a million different things I want to get done and I already feel like the clock is ticking...tick- tock . I can't tell you how much I miss Stella already and come Sunday I'm going to be chomping at the bit to pick her u...

Yeah, it's been a while....

Stella, Dreya and I hit the Niwot Days Festival on Thursday night....let me tell you... we had a blast. I know it's been a loooong time since I've post and I'm sorry but I'll throw in updates when I can.....Summer aways seem to be such a busy time but I'll try my best. Stella, Dreya and I, pre -face paint! Is it wrong for a 30 year old to enjoy face painting so much? I didn't want to wash it off before bed time. :) Stella and I gettin down to some great 80's music. Hope everyone is having a fantastic summer!

Birthday Girl...

Yesterday was Stella's birthday and we had a small family party for her. This weekend there will be more celebrating but last night she got to open most of her presents. The lil bugger got an I-Pod, lots of new games, an I-Pod pup and some money, and clothes. Luck girl! Toasting Stella's birthday!! Happy Birthday Stella! She wanted a hula-hoop, so she got a hula-hoop! :) Love this little girl!

9...

9 is the magic number. My lil girl turns 9 today. I can't believe how old she is getting and how quickly time is passing. It's exciting to see her grow into such a cool human being. Lots of fun stuff planned for today and the next couple days. HAPPY BIRTHDAY STELLA!!!!!
