Weekend in Rewind...

I know it's been a few days but my poor laptop has gotten sick! :( I have to take it in tomorrow and hope that they can bring her back to life! On the up side, it might be time for a new one?
Either way, here we go....
Stella had Spring Break all last week and went skiing almost everyday! woo-hoo. She went to her dad and step mom's on Thursday to spend an extra day with them for her break. 3 days away from her and I really REALLY miss the lil bugger, but I'm picking here up in a few hours and I can't wait!
Friday night our little crew of friends did dinner at Fontana Sushi (our usual sushi joint). After dinner we headed downtown for a little bar hopping. LOTS of fun but man am I feeling old. I was the DD just because I'm not a big drinker so I don't mind but it's hard staying up that late. HA! I don't know how we use to do it night after night. Oh to be young! Nah....
Saturday Connor and I headed out to Dick's Sporting Goods Complex to watch the Barbos play against the Chicago Lions. The Barbos WON! It was a cold and windy game but the win made it worth it.
Saturday night, movie night. The feature.....Snakes on a Plane. Before you judge, you have to watch the movie for its comedic value and then it's a funny movie. Samuel Jackson is the man! (Ok in reality it's a TERRIBLE movie but we had fun!) What could be better then snakes and planes?

Notice the snakes and the plane on the coffee table! Yeah, we're dorks!
On to Easter Sunday!!! Connor, Adam, Amanda, Chris and I put on our Sunday best and met up for brunch....mmmmm, mimosas and lots of yummy food. Now it's almost time to pick the lil one up (can't wait) and head home to finish up some spring break homework. But, not before I give her, her Easter basket. This year I decided to skip most of the candy and instead focus on painting. I bought her a bunch of new paints, brushes, canvases, and some other fun crafting things. I did thrown in a huge box of Nerds (her favorite) but I can't wait to give them to her. Hope every one had a wonderful Easter!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...
