Tidbits...

This weekend was filled full of sunshine, working out, playing outside, a birthday party and even some dancing. It's been a really long time since I got a good swim work out in but Connie and I hit the Wash Park gym on Saturday morning and hit the pool. I swam a pretty quick 1600 meters (considering the shape I'm in) and then we got a really hard ab routine in. Woo-hoo, it felt so good walking out of the gym felling like I just got my ass kicked by a good work out.

Saturday night after spending the early evening at the Vossler's for Rich's birthday party, Connie and I met up with some friends down in the DTC for a little drinkin and dancin. What a great night!

It was a house band playing and Conner and I got our groove on! Check out the lady behind us. That was one killer outfit!

On a final note, my dad came home today and the Buffs ended up 2nd this year at NCAA Champs, although my dad is disapointed, they pulled into second after being behind the day before in 5th place. DU won this year. I think this loss for my dad would have been easier if it wasn't DU in 1st. A good friend of mine is the head coach for DU (Andy). We grew up skiing together and he even skied for my dad while going to school at CU so it's hard to be bummed at DU but that's how it goes. There is always next year (something my dad doesn't want to hear right now) :)

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...
