Takeout...

It is such a luxury around here. Living up in the mountains where we do, no one seems to want to deliver anything up here. It's a bit of an adjustment since you have to come up with something to make to eat EVERY night even on the really busy nights. Its not like it's easy to run out and grab a quick bite to eat or have anything delivered, not that we did it that often when we lived in the city but it's nice having that option. Well tonight was Stella's night for piano down in Lyons (there's still no take out there) so I busted a move after I dropped her off at piano and drove the 15 miles to Longmont to pick up some Chinese takeout! It worked out perfectly, just as I pulled into her teachers driveway they were walking out the door at the end of her class. Mission accomplished, we had takeout for dinner. WOOT. I can't tell you the last time we had takeout up here. It's funny the little things you miss every now and then, living up in the mountains. Not that I would trade it for the world, I love it up here, it's where we belong! But I won't lie and say it wasn't nice to have takeout for once.

On a random note...here is what Stella and I bought at Old Navy on Sunday. Too bad that it got cold again....there's still tons of summer clothes to buy but at least we got a few basics to get us started....can't wait for summer!

One more random note....Sunday was such a beautiful day that we all got a little too much sun in the park, but it was well worth it. Being out in the sunshine refuels my soul. The picture below is of Stella at Wash park, while we were playing a great game of frisby!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

vegas....

This week has been INSANE! We are in the process of getting ready for one of our largest shows in Vegas that the boys leave for on Saturday. It's one of two shows that we do where we get to put our best foot forward and amaze all the buyers for all the boutiques that we sell to. So we have to get it right. With all the new samples that we have been getting from Peru, having to choose a new line has been tough, too many amazing choices to choose from!  Scary, but this is an alpaca sweater that we produced in the 80's and I just happend upon it while digging around in the warehouse the other day. Trust me we've had a HUGE evolution in our sweaters since then! Still fun to see!  Our new line of cottons. We've got two racks that we are sifting through to find the top 30!  On another note, check out Stella and my dad at the top of Hood with some of the CU kids. She sounds like she's having a blast! Missing her a bunch but we get to see her on Saturday. ...
