Dreaming of Green....

I was looking through some pictures last night that my mom sent me, and it made me long for spring and summer, when the grass and trees are green and the flowers are fresh and colorful and the garden is booming with yummy vegetables.

These pictures are of Stella's Art Studio. My mom sewed some red and white polka dot curtains for it and it looks fabulous. This is Stella's little space to create, play, imagine, and do anything else she can come up with. My parents made a spot for it above the house with it's own little retaining wall and right below it on another spot Stella has a swimming pool for the summer.

Stella loves spending time in here little house. I go home for lunch in the sumers when Stella is at home for summer break and thanks to a little help from my mom Stella and I have lunch in her studio! I can't wait for those days to come back around.

Thinking green... Happy St. Patty's Day!

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

break #1....

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!! It's so rare that we end up at the same mountain (not on a race ...
