Sick-Orama



It's that time of year (cold season) and germs are EVERYWHERE. My lil one finally caught the bug. I think she's been fighting it off for a few days but poor thing finally got it.
I took the day off of work yesterday and we got to spend the day together. I won't lie and say that it wasn't nice to have an extra day to hang with my lil one even though she was sick. We colored, played board games, studied and practiced her piano. We also made a quick trip down to the doctor for a lil check up to make sure it wasn't strep because she was complaining of a very soar throat and it's been floating around her school. After we got the clear of no strep and we headed back home and had a chill evening.
With a good amount of rest last night she woke up this morning her chipper self and was ready to get back to school.
I sit here in my office this morning mapping out my day and with the weather we are suppose to have today (70's) I think I'll spend most of it working outside. Woo-Hoo

Meaning To....

I've been meaning to post pictures of the finished wall at the office for a while now but it seems like every time I remember I'm either not near a computer or something else gets in the way. Well ...here it is, we decided not to do different patio layouts on top, those are going in a different spot but we did put some large slabs on top so we could display our furniture. Now, on to the next 1,000 different projects I have in mind for around here... only that's going to have to wait till tomorrow, the lil one is not feeling well so my mama went and picked her up from school and I'm heading to the doc with her in a few hours to get her checked out. Don't think it's anything major just chest congestion , runny nose but no fever. Nothing a little rest and TLC wont fix! I love the fact that everything is finally starting to turn green. Green makes every thing look better! :)

Six weeks.....that's how long she has to have this thing on. It didn't happen playing pond hockey, it didn't happen skiing, it happen tripping down the sidewalk. I mean....REALLY!?!?! Much Love!

2013.......

Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  What a spectacular, awesome, fantastic year. SO much to be thankful for but looking ahead I'm ready to kick some booty in 2014.  We got the chance to spend the holidays with family and I hope you all got to do the same! We've been on the go-go-go schedule so it was nice to slow things down a bit and enjoy each others company. I feel like there is so much to catch up on in the last few weeks but it seems like it's best to just move forward!!! Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks of the new year, Stella has her first race coming up this weekend, a race the following weekend and to add to the mix I have two of our largest shows of the year coming up for work. Flying by the seat of our pants..........Woot! Christmas Day skiing has turned into one of my most favorite family traditions!!   ....and of course Christmas Eve with the family is always great too!!!!
