2 1/2 weeks.....part 2

For the first time in years we missed the annual Vossler/Rokos/Carlavato Thanksgiving. This year we were all tied up with other obligations. Thankfully my parents and brother could join Troy, Stella and I and 20 athletes in Copper for a Thanksgiving feast.  Uncle Tommy and Stella strolling Copper.   Dad and I toasting to life, love and health.  Tommy, mom and I enjoying a few glasses of wine at the base of Copper Mountain. What you don't see behind us is a HUGE toasty fire!   So much gratitude for this family!   "The girls" and Stella enjoying Thanksgiving dinner.   LOVE this guy!  Unfortunately there were quite a few people missing from our Thanksgiving celebration (the rest of the Watt's and the Conkling's) but we send out LOTS of gratitude for them too.  part 3 to follow.....

2 1/2 weeks....part 1

Boy, have I missed blogging, especially with all the great pictures I've gotten over the last few weeks.  We had an incredible trip to Colorado (as expected) but it's nice to be back home. I miss Colorado TONS and the people there but it felt like home coming back to Waterville (never thought I'd be saying that).  I am surrounded by piles and piles of laundry and Stella and Troy both doing homework and work and I am filled with gratitude for this adventure and this life with the people I love.  On to the good stuff.....I feel like if I posted all the great pics from the trip it would fill up tons of pages so I'll try and keep it to a minimum.... Love these guys....from left to right : Jim, Leslie, Trevor, Dawn (with Baxter in her lap) Remy, and of course Stella (holding Tiger). Thank you guys for a WONDERFUL evening.  First day on snow. I met up with Troy in Loveland on our way to Lake George to make our first track of the year ...

whew...

I have sooooooo many pictures to post but sadly it's going to have to wait till I get home (to Waterville) in another week and half. I only have my ipad out here in Colorado and the blogger app REALLY sucks so I've decided to hold off and then do one HUGE Colorado post. Hope everyone is doing well. We are having a blast out here. Seeing family and friends but also getting some big time skiing in! Woo hoo! Stay tuned.... Love and Gratitude

Gooooooo buffaloes......

Our first day back in Colorado and we got to see the last CU game of the season!!! We ended up leaving at 1/2 time but I'm pretty sure we ended up winning. Its so nice being back in the Colorado!!!  The Rokos's together! Woo HOO!  Snow on the side lines but a beautiful, WINDY day!  Yeah......we had a good time! We even got to watch Ralphie run! Run Ralphie Run! Love and gratitude.... - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

a lovely evening out...

Troy, Stella and I had a lovely evening out last night, thanks in part to my BFF Mollie! After all it was the  eve of Troy's birthday so we just "had" to celebrate.  ;)    We went to one of the few local resturants here in the valley. It was us and one other couple in the bar. The valley is pretty dead right now until the ski season starts.  Out of the 10 pictures Troy took of Stella and I this was about the best one. She's still looking over at the TV but unlike the other 9 at least she has her eyes open. hehe The birthday boy! Here's to another fantastic trip around the sun.  Love and Gratitude...

the freedom chair...

On March 8, 2004 aspiring freeskier and coach, Josh Dueck, awoke from a ski crash to realize life would never be the same. Paralyzed from the waist down, Josh made a decision to make the best of a horrible situation. The result,.....incredibly inspirational (to say the least)...... for more on this.....     http://www.salomonfreeski.com/others/minisites/ipad-magazine/ Love and Gratitude.
