gratitude....

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. John F. Kennedy   Wikipedia : G ratitude, thankfulness, gratefulness, or appreciation is a feeling, emotion or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive. The experience of gratitude has historically been a focus of several world religions,[1] and has been considered extensively by moral philosophers such as Adam Smith.[2] The systematic study of gratitude within psychology only began around the year 2000, possibly because psychology has traditionally been focused more on understanding distress rather than understanding positive emotions. However, with the advent of the positive psychology movement,[3] gratitude has become a mainstream focus of psychological research.[4] The study of gratitude within psychology has focused on the understanding of the short term experience of the emotion of gratitude (state gratitude...

it's starting...

I am so excitd to experience my first New England fall. I've heard it's hands down the best place to be to experience the change seasons. It's slowly started. The reds are popping, and the yellows are getting brighter by the day. It's Saturday, the sun is shinning and we're off for a bike ride...life is a beautiful thing. Mmmmmmuch love....

bucket list...

Troy and I have started a bucket list. Amongst some travel destinations and adventures that we'd like to go on, this spot is close to the top of the list. Lake Garda (Italian: Lago di Garda or Benaco) is the largest lake in Italy. It is located in Northern Italy, about half-way between Brescia and Verona, and between Venice and Milan. Glaciers formed this alpine region at the end of the last ice age. The lake and its shoreline are divided between the provinces of Verona (to the southeast), Brescia (southwest), and Trentino (north). Being easily accessible from the north via the Brenner Pass, the lake includes a number of exclusive hotels and resorts along its shore. Sending out much love....

Stella's first dance...

She is growing up so fast! Stella and all her little school mates went to their first school dance of the year. They picked put their outfits together, did their hair together. It was so fun to watch. Troy and I dropped them off at 6:30 on the dot at Thorton Elementary. Stella's school is so small that we have to piggy-back with one of the other local school just so there is enough kids to have a dance. Three hours later at 9:30 we picked them up giggling, smiling, laughing and all sweaty. The girls were dancing their booties off for three hours. To say the least, Stella's first school dance was a HUGE success. Much Love..

beauty in the world....

Stella loves this song. I walked into Stella's bathroom this morning while she was getting ready for school and she was listening to her iopd, shaking her little booty so I grabbed it and plugged it into the speakers and this song was playing. We both grinned and stared shakin out bootys together. Sending out some major Friday LOVE....

Could you be loved.....AND be loved

consiousness....

There is consciousness of the ego and the world around you, and there is consciousness of the Real Self, the Real You. - author unknown                                                          Wikipedia : Consciousness is a term that refers to a variety of aspects of the relationship between the mind and the world with which it interacts. [1] It has been defined as: subjectivity ; awareness ; the ability to experience feelings ; wakefulness; having a sense of selfhood ; or the executive control system of the mind. [2]  Despite the difficulty of definition, many philosophers believe that there is a broadly shared underlying intuition about what consciousness is. [3] As Max Velmans and Susan Schne...
