Summer feels like it's slipping by but the house is coming along. All the old siding is off and the new stuff is up along with the new paint! Woo- hoo !! I can't even begin to explain the amount of hard work my parents have put into this house and for which I am eternally grateful for . They have been busting butt day in day out! I will have lots of pictures to post soon....promise! Sending out some much sunshine, summer love!!!

Last week my friend db sent me this, and it's stuck with me since. I read it at least once a day, here it is...... THE KNOTS PRAYER Dear God: Please unite the knots that are in my mind, me heart and am life. Remove the have nots , the can nots and the do nots that I have in my mind. Erase the will nots , may nots , might nots that may find a home in my heart. Release me from the could nots , would nots and should nots that obstruct my life. And most of all Dear God, I ask that you remove from my mind, my heart and my life all of the 'am nots ' that I have allowed to hold me back, especially that I am not good enough. We are all good enough! Amen! Author know to God!

4 th of July weekend we climbed James Peak, outside of Winter Park. We didn't make it to the top due to some nasty weather that moved in over the peak which is a bummer because we where only about 200 vertical feet from the top. Regardless we had a great hike and got to take in some A M A Z I N G views from (almost) the top! Winter Park Ski Resort in the background . I stopped and took pictures of all the amazing mountain flowers. That might be another blog post in-of-it-self! Mountain flowers.... mm mmmm ! These pictures don't do the place justice. 10 years on this planet. Can you believe it? I am one proud mama of this kiddo. Can't wait to see what great things the next 10 years have in store for us! Much love HAPPY HAPPY Birthday Stella!!!!

Our poor little chicken are being terrorized by a bear! He (or she) keeps trying to get into the chicken coop to try and eat some of the chicken feed. Luckily every time he or she strikes it's at night and the chickens are sake at home in their beds. Do bears eat chickens? Must be scary having a grumpy, hungry bear trying to break into your home! Here is the damage done, and it's already been worked on at this point in the picture. He's been back again since this first incident but luckily no chickens were taken the fox that lives up above us on the other hand got one. He's sittin fat and happy for now! :) Much love!

So I've been meaning to post this for quite some time (a week). Tommy (my lil brother) turned 24 on the 27. Mom, Dad, S tella and I all met him down on Pearl St in Boulder for some afternoon lunch and a little stroll up and down Pearl. A great family afternoon! The munchkin and I Happy Birthday Uncle Tommy!!!!!!

There is this awesome little Euro deli right around the coroner from my office. It has the largest collection of cheese (isles and isles) in a HUGE walk through refrigerated warehouse. It also carries a tons of imported vinaigrette's , oils, chocolates and Euro goodies! We stop in there for lunch once in a while and today when I was in there I found these. 4" x 8" tiles. I've been looking for coasters for the coffee table for a while and haven't really found anything I like, but these babies look great on my black coffee table. Woot ! I love old vintage posters so these were right up my alley. One of my favorite artists, Mucha ! A Czech! I wish they still made adds like this! Wishing everyone a wonderful, sunshine filled weekend!
