After a few days of craziness in Vegas, I headed straight to CB (Crested Butte) to meet up with Troy and Stella that were already there for a day. On a little side note, I would sooooooo much rather be in CB then in Vegas, much more my pace. Anyways, I missed the first training day of SG but I was there just in time to catch all the real action. It's been about 18 years since I made my way over to the Butte and the last time I was there was for Sax's wedding! Eeeek.  I raced the Dan Prater Memorial about 22 years ago and it was just as exciting watching as a parent as it was being a kid at the race. I have some awesome memories from then and now!  Could Crested Butte be more beautiful!    Dan Prater Memorial!  Stella cruisin the main strip with dad getting some goodies!  Stella and her buddy Katie-K on the same team, Team Luxembourg!  There are so many cool things about this little town!   Catching up with ...

Leaving for Vegas today and back home next Sunday via Crested Butte! So excited to get through a few days in Vegas for work and then meet up with the rest of the Watts clan for the rest of the week for some serious fun and racing!  Two different world, two different sorts of fun!!  Hope everyone has a FANTASTIC week! Oh my gosh, is all I can say about the last few weeks. It has been a nut house around here to say the least. From work being super busy while we gear up for one of our biggest shows in Vegas next week to chasing around Stella and all her ski races, training and activities! Whew! I am ready for a fruity drink, a beach and some r and r for a few days but that will have to wait till April! Not that I'm complaining....I LOVE THIS LIFE and wouldn't have it any other way. Counting my blessings daily!  Stella had a race this weekend at Eldora so we got to spend a few nights at my parents house which was awesome  Stella had a bit of a rough go at it this weekend, she had 4 races, two of which she hiked and two of which she didn't finish because she fell. But, such is ski racing and we have many, MANY more weekends ahead of us like this.  Always love driving into Boulder, notice one thing missing?!?!
