With a lack of support from the US Ski Team, a group of strong, kick-ass women have come together to continue their dreams of being on the podium. A few are former US Ski Teamers that no longer fit the "criteria" (although they are at a World Cup level) and some are fresh out of college (winning Nor-Ams) getting passed up by the National Team because they didn't grow through the "system" (and for some reason the National Team (most likely ego) has passed them up). Whatever the reasons are, these girls are going to show all of us how it's done, with or without National Team support. Stella watches this series on the BBC on YouTube at least once a day. I can hear her giggling in her room and I know right away when she is watching it, her giggles are ALWAYS contagious.  Dare you not to laugh!  Love and Gratitude! 

We are right where we belong!  Happy Tuesday! What a crazy day! After three days off with some of my favorite people it was a bit hard to motivate for work this morning. Yeesh! Stella had her school field day today and came home sun-burned, bruised and HAPPY. Troy-boy is still out and about working and it's almost 8pm! My hubby is one hard working guy, for that, I give thanks..... Love and Gratitude! 

Timmy, a long-time family friend, today did something AWESOME. Timmy won the National Cycling title. Yup, he's the National Champ.  Check out this article from Velo News :  VELO NEWS / Timmy . It's been too long since we've been over to the Jolly Ranch! We made the drive over Friday afternoon and settled in for some family time, relaxing, exploring and of course all the other fun stuff that goes along with being on a ranch. Stella got to ride her buddy Hickory and Gus got to play with his new buddies Ellie and Tilda and roam the ranch! Yup, it's been a hoot (as always)!!!!   Hope everyone is having a fantastic Memorial Day weekend!  Love and Gratitude.

The past two days I've combined my love of taking pictures, the outdoors and pretty clothes. I had the pleasure of working with some beautiful, awesome local Breckenridge women for a great cause. One birthday party is always fun but combining two is even better! In grand tradition we celebrated Paul's and my dad birthday with friends, family and LOTS of beer!   Love this guy!  The entire gang. Pinewood Springs, Colorado!   A little family photo-op while hiking, Stella was on the rock above us making goofy faces......she got cropped!  ;) Here she is smile and all! You've got to be quick with the camera when she's outside running around with her buddies, she doesn't stand still for long!  ;) Stella and Dad sprinting up the quarry road.....I walked!   Like I said, LOTS of beer! On Saturday, Stella earned her double yellow stripes at Tae-Kwon-Do. This was her first testing ever, as we are pretty new to the sport. She kicked some major booty.  I am one proud mama!  Can you tell she was a bit nervous before testing started!    Once she got into her flow, she rocked it!  Doing her high kicks!   Chopping through her first board!   And, finally receiving her stripes! Woo Hoo  Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Can you believe only two more weeks of school and we're done for the summer?!?! Crazy how time flies!  Love and Gratitude! 

Meet Gus! The latest addition to the Watts family! He's a 7 month old Australia cattle dog. He's about 40 pounds, brown and black, brown eyes and such a lover! He's perfect for this family, we just hope he loves us as much as a love him!  ;) We met at the shelter and it was love at first sight. I think the three of us knew the moment we said hello!   From the moment he got home our place has been complete. He's definitely curious about his new surroundings but I think he's loving it!  Hope every one had a fabulous weekend.  Love and gratitude! 

Stella ROCKED her school play last night. The play was all based on Broadway! Wonderful show tunes, colorful costumes, funny story and best of all, Stella on stage singing her little heart out!!  Stella's class designed the set.   Most of Stella's classmates. Do - a deer, a female dear,  Re - a drop of golden sun....... Troy doin what he loves to to do...camera in hand.  Stella and one of her BFF's Brigitte.   Mama and Papa Rokos even made it up!   :)  Dad and Stella and a little piggy-back action after dinner, if she gets much taller she'll be giving us piggy-back rides!  ;)  Stella and her best buddy TEDDY, who spent the night (along with my mom and dad).  What a great evening and fun to wake up and have mom and dad in the house with u...

Stella and I were goofing around tonight and here is what we came up with.  Stella in rollers! Ha!  *My LiTtLe GiRl*  Growing up WAY too fast!!! I think she is BEAUTIFUL, she thinks she looks silly! I WIN!  Love and Gratitude! 

One of my favorite people in the world (and my BFF :)) is graduating from nursing school today with her masters in nursing!!!  Congratulations!!!  Love this girl!!!  So happy, proud and inspired by you! May nothing but amazing things keep coming your way!! Love and Gratitude for YOU! 

Yesterday after work and picking up Stella from her play practice, we headed home only to turn right back around and head back into town to grab some dinner. Right as we pulled out of our drive and onto our street we ran into two moose, they looked a bit grey and old and maybe a little grumpy because of the weather. All day it had been a bit overcast with a few rain showers but I definitely wasn't expecting to go to dinner and walk out to a snow storm!  No snow on the ground at 6pm.   7:30 and after dinner.....SNOW! Woo! We had dinner at Downstairs at Eric's where there are no windows so imagine our surprise seeing this when we walk out of the restaurant. Stella in flip flop and shorts, yeesh!!!  This morning, sunny and beautiful! One of the MANY things about living in Colorado. Tomorrow all the snow will be gone and I'll be back to wearing skirts, summer dresses and flip flops!  The view to the right out our living room win...
