and, again....

Eeeek .....another freakin fire. This one is REALLLLY close to Boulder. It looks like it's just to the north of Canyon Rd. Hope they put this one out QUICK! The St Julian on the right and the fire is about 1/2 a mile (as the crow flys). I wish this picture captured the fire a little better. Standing there taking it, it is MUCH closer then it appears in this photo and of course the winds are whipping in Boulder! Sending l;ots of good energy and safety to the fire fighters!

Ah-Mazing

Driving into Boulder this morning to the gym was breath-taking. These pictures do not do the sunrise justice, they were taken from my phone, but what an amazing way to start on Friday morning. Lyons It just kept getting better by the second. But, more importantly to the west of this picture there is tons of snow in the hills! Wishing everyone a blessed Friday and a beautiful weekend. Much Love

force of nature

Mother nature has been unleashing her fury the last few nights. Major, MAJOR winds whipping through the valley and here are her results! She got through both pieces of glass! Here is my beautiful duct tape job. Off to Home Depot to try and buy a new one. wish me luck Much windy Tuesday love!

ski ball 2010

16, that's how many ski balls I've been to. I can't say that one year has been better than another, except maybe one year when I had Jimmy as my date. Other then that, each ski ball has been just as great as the next. It's always a wonderful time when you can get a bunch of ski industry people together, family and friends. This year we celebrated the 40 th anniversary of the ski ball. We honored two skiers that passed away this year. A legend in the ski world, Jimmy Heuga passed away in February. MS claimed his life but his Buff spirit lives on in all of us. And, then there is Spencer Nelson. A sophomore who was taken WAY too soon. Killed in a tragic climbing accident this summer, this season will be skied for Spencer. On a little lighter note, Paul, Alena, Tommy and I had a great time catching up! 2010 CU Buffs. One team, one goal! Wishing these kids, love, health, focus, strength, luck and fast skis for the up coming season. Much love!

year one...

Can you believe it!?! This weekend marks one year in our home! The changes are amazing and the work seems never ending but so far it's been a wonderful journey. We had a pretty relaxed weekend, the lil'one and I! A great Saturday morning breakfast kicked it off, and a happy little get together for some pumpkin carving toped it off! I made the first cut for Stella and after that she was in full control of the big sharp knife! Eeekkkk!!!!! "ewwwwwww"....as Stella put it so eloquently!!! Stella digging in! Little kids and sharp knives = nervous mama! Ha!! Stella and her creation! Heart eyes, a star nose and a big ol' smile! Sammy and his ghost pumpkin. Thanks to the Vosslers for another fun filled family event! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Much love! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

new...

Got a new iPad a few days ago to make work a little more efficient. No more luging around the huge freakin 17in laptop! This is my first post from it....not exactly work related but definitely more efficient!!! :) Here's a pic I took last night off the deck with my new chimenea! Thanks to mom and dad for that! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Much love!!!!

Go Buffs....

I don't know who put this together, but I think it's great! GO BUFFS! Much love and blessings!

happy munchkin...

Can you say HAPPY girl?!? Stella got some major lovin from her dad and mama Tyler today. I got home and Stella was sprawled on the floor digging through her box of goodies sent to her, from Seattle , with love. Stella's old i-pod went through the wash and needless to say it doesn't work anymore. Prayers answered.....a new i-pod!! A new i-pod with a case made just for her! She was so happy she could barley contain herself! The teeth and other Halloween goodies were a HUGE hit as well! Stella sends a BIG thank you and love to her dad, tyler and her lil bro, Arlin! Goodies on their way to Seatle for her brother! Hope everyone had a wonderful, cold, rainy, snowy, Tuesday! Much love!

10.10.10.

Fall is in the air, can you feel it? Today was a perfect fall day so Stella, her friends and I went to the pumpkin patch. It's the same pumpkin patch we've been going to on and off for the last 15 years. Still the same rides, still the same set up and still just as fun every year. HWY 66 Pumpkin Patch! Radio Flyer! Stella trying to beat everyone through the haystack maze! She won!! Kiki , Levi and Stella and the massive pumpkins! Lots of rides, lots of mud and lots of fun! I love all the colors! This year we even picked up a few ghost pumpkins! Levi and I What a great Sunday morning. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Happy Sunday! Much Love!

ebb and flow...

Push and pull, stop and go, in a constant state of flux today! Love it! Everything eventually seems to fall into place! Great feeling for a Friday. Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend! Much love!

dreaming of snow...

Praying for snow, it's coming, I can feel it. I dreamt about it last night, I was flying down the mountain , it was a beautiful feeling. Stella's getting excited about it as well..... we woke up this morning and were watching the morning news as we were getting ready and they were showing some footage of the high country and snowy peaks. Dad, circa 197something Stella 2009 Who says you can't be dressed up with a pair of skis!?! :) How cool is this pic of my mama, ripping down the mountain! Dad Michigan circa 81 or 82! This is me in 1995. Although I don't really miss skiing gates (well sometime a slalom course calls my name but I'd kill myself these days) I do love the feeling of being on snow and pushing down the mountain, feeling my skis arc under me, it's the stuff dreams are made of. Can you tell I'm ready for ski season? :) It's been a crazy busy week so far but Stella and I are rockin it. Hope everyone is doing well! Sending out blessings and love...
Yup! The circus! Stella and I, last night hit the circus down in Denver with a few buddies! I've always had issues with the circus and I haven't been since i was about 10 so i thought I'd give it a go. Still have the same issues! Barnum and Bailey! Here are my issues! Bright lights, dancing and singing and poor, grumpy, sad elephants. Stella and I had a blast, I think the motorcycle guys in the cage were the coolest part. I have a bit of a sugar hangover this morning and thank god Stella has a day off today. Hope everyone had a beautiful Friday and a wonderful weekend. Going to the Buff game on Saturday. GO GU! Much Love!!!
