We finally got cable yesterday (woo-hoo)!?! We haven't had cable since we moved into our new house in November of last year (8 months). I have to admit it was REALLY nice to wake up this morning and watch the local news while i was getting ready for work. Of course Stella it TOTALLY psyched, since now she doesn't have to walk up to my parents house to get her cartoon/discovery channel fix. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, although Stella's time in front of the TV is pretty limited I'm hoping the novelty of having cable will wear itself out soon! On another note...things have been super busy and finally seeing an end to finishing the house (sort of), I know I've been talking a big game about post pictures but i swear they are coming soon! :) Wishing everyone a HAPPY Thursday! I believe we don't have to change friends, if we understand that friends change. I believe no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while, and you must forgive them for that. I believe you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life. I believe you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them. The house is painted the trim is up and the deck is being built! Have I mentioned that my parents ROCK! Lots of time and work that they've (we've) put into the house.....but it's starting to take shape.... pictures soooooooonnnnnn !!!! Woo-hoo! Much Love!

Summer feels like it's slipping by but the house is coming along. All the old siding is off and the new stuff is up along with the new paint! Woo- hoo !! I can't even begin to explain the amount of hard work my parents have put into this house and for which I am eternally grateful for . They have been busting butt day in day out! I will have lots of pictures to post soon....promise! Sending out some much sunshine, summer love!!!

Last week my friend db sent me this, and it's stuck with me since. I read it at least once a day, here it is...... THE KNOTS PRAYER Dear God: Please unite the knots that are in my mind, me heart and am life. Remove the have nots , the can nots and the do nots that I have in my mind. Erase the will nots , may nots , might nots that may find a home in my heart. Release me from the could nots , would nots and should nots that obstruct my life. And most of all Dear God, I ask that you remove from my mind, my heart and my life all of the 'am nots ' that I have allowed to hold me back, especially that I am not good enough. We are all good enough! Amen! Author know to God!

4 th of July weekend we climbed James Peak, outside of Winter Park. We didn't make it to the top due to some nasty weather that moved in over the peak which is a bummer because we where only about 200 vertical feet from the top. Regardless we had a great hike and got to take in some A M A Z I N G views from (almost) the top! Winter Park Ski Resort in the background . I stopped and took pictures of all the amazing mountain flowers. That might be another blog post in-of-it-self! Mountain flowers.... mm mmmm ! These pictures don't do the place justice. 10 years on this planet. Can you believe it? I am one proud mama of this kiddo. Can't wait to see what great things the next 10 years have in store for us! Much love HAPPY HAPPY Birthday Stella!!!!

Our poor little chicken are being terrorized by a bear! He (or she) keeps trying to get into the chicken coop to try and eat some of the chicken feed. Luckily every time he or she strikes it's at night and the chickens are sake at home in their beds. Do bears eat chickens? Must be scary having a grumpy, hungry bear trying to break into your home! Here is the damage done, and it's already been worked on at this point in the picture. He's been back again since this first incident but luckily no chickens were taken the fox that lives up above us on the other hand got one. He's sittin fat and happy for now! :) Much love!

So I've been meaning to post this for quite some time (a week). Tommy (my lil brother) turned 24 on the 27. Mom, Dad, S tella and I all met him down on Pearl St in Boulder for some afternoon lunch and a little stroll up and down Pearl. A great family afternoon! The munchkin and I Happy Birthday Uncle Tommy!!!!!!
