can't put it down....

I haven't really slept in a few days thanks to the Twilight Series . I never thought I'd be one for vampire stories but after seeing the first two movies I dove into the next two instalments. I've already finished Eclipse and am now fully submerged into Breaking Dawn . Each book is about 700 pages each but really easy reading. The story sucks you in, and after seeing the first two movies I can vividly imagine the next two! Now if I could just put them down and get some sleep. There are just not enough hours in the day! Much Love!

walls, tree, and siding.....

As we move in to phase two of working on the house (the outside), the weather is getting warmer and things are in full bloom. Now that dad is back (from traveling) we are working on a full assault game plan for the exterior of the house. Stone wall flowers from the Czech Republic. I just planted about a dozen of them in the wall yesterday. So far we've planted about a dozen new trees all around the property with plans of planting a lot more. A full Aspen grove more! :) None of these colors made the cut. All the siding you see in this picture is being stripped off and new siding is going up along with a new color to be reveled at a later date. My dad and mom bought the orange color on the lower right as a joke, but it scared me for a minute or two! Lots more pictures coming soon as we start demo- ing .....can't wait! Much Love!

happy mama's day!!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Much Love!!!

rocky mountain national park...

The munchkin and I ventured up to the National Park up in Estes today. It's only 15 minutes from the house and absolutely beautiful. The only problem is that in about one or two more weekends this place will be so filled with tourists that it almost ruins the experience of going up there but I bought a park pass today for the season so I think we'll be up there a lot! Right as we drove into the park we ran into these guys! This guy had a huge tracking collar on. He was hanging with about 50 of his buddies on the side of the hill. Stella in front of the falls! Love the self timer on the camera! :) Goof Ball!!! Love this spot! Wish the mountains in the background turned out a little better! The picture does not do this place justice. We were so hungry by the time we left the park that we stopped at the grocery store and raided it. I think we might do this again tomorrow! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Sending out much Mother's Day lovin !

caviar wishes and champagne dreams....

This puppy runs about $3500.00!!! I think my first car was about 1/2 that price! HA! What happen to the days when a $100 Huffey used to cut it? This is the top of the line Scott women's road bike. Isn't she purdy! I think I'm going to have to work my way up into this bad boy. I am however all excited about getting back out and on the bike, and seriously starting to ride again. This is the weekend (unless it snows some more) boo! Happy Friday! Woot !

random thoughts...

One of my favorite smells in the world. No matter where I'm at and I smell nag champa I think of home. I always keep a box or two of it at the house and it always makes me just a little happier when it's burning! Stella's been hanging with her BFF all day after the fun sleep over they had here last night and I'm off to the dentist. Yup! The dentist on a Sunday. Dennis my parents dentist is going to fix a chipped tooth that's been buggin me for a few weeks, after I took a spill and chipped it. Always something.... Happy Sunday!

Happy!

My little munchkin got home today after spending a few days at grandma and grandpas and boy, did I miss her. She came home with a new haircut and today in the car it struck me, how mature she was getting.....SCARY (but awesome)!!! Lovin the new do! We had dinner at my friend Amy's and Stella's friend Kirsten's house. Stella and I making fresh salsa! Yummm ! After dinner I took Stella and her BFF back to our house for a sleep over. Here's a pic of the two silly monkeys just after they set up camp in the guest bedroom. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night! ;) Sending out much love!

Tah-Dah!!!!

I've been meaning to post this for a few days but the wall is finally done. It looks awesome. I can't wait to start on the rest of the house! A HUGE thanks to mom and dad. They are the ones who busted butt and got this thing done! Check out these guys! I took this picture from outside my bedroom window. They've been hanging out in the neighborhood for the last few weeks. I'm just happy I don't have any flowers out yet but I'm still a little grumpy that they are eating all our fresh growing green grass! But, they are still fun to watch! Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Much Love!!!
